LAFCU is a homegrown credit union serving our community since 1936. Starting modestly helping Oldsmobile Workers, the Credit Union was known as Oldsmakers Federal Credit Union, then Lansing Automakers Federal Credit Union and now simply LAFCU.
You can become a member if you live, work, worship, or attend school in Barry, Calhoun, Clinton, Eaton, Gratiot, Ionia, Ingham, Jackson, Livingston, Montcalm, and Shiawassee county. LAFCU's exclusive financial benefits, once reserved for the automotive industry, are now available to everyone in these counties.
LAFCU is proud to not only serve the community in which they have offices, but to also play an active role in making our community a better place to live. LAFCU encourages community involvement and its employees serve many organizations and committees on a volunteer leadership basis by sitting on their boards of directors.
